20 years ago Wayne Grattan purchased Otaki Cold Storage Limited. Under his ownership the cold store has seen several developments, with the latest being the addition of a 1,000 pallet space freezer adjacent to the existing buildings.The new building doubles the freezer space available at the Gorge Road site, with an expected completion date late 2017.
Wayne takes great pride in being able to see the business develop from strength to strength since he secured the premises in 1997. The 1,000 pallet space freezer being the latest step in further developing the business.
Jamie has worked at Otaki Cold Storage Limited since 2004. 25 years of experience in logistics and an understanding of cold storage operations means he can answer most of your questions quickly and thoroughly.
The longest serving member of the team Tracey joined Otaki Cold Storage Limited in 2001. Her methodical operating style, excellent problem solving skills, expert inventory control and book keeping knowledge keep the office running smoothly. Tracey is often the first point of contact and will always greet you with her cheerful voice or a smile.
With a keen eye for detail, a respect for the customer’s product and a can do attitude they are the wheels that keep the operation rolling. Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed in a timely manner, the boys will often cut short their lunch or smoko breaks to get your product out of the door and to the customer without delay.
