The store specialises in blast freezing, frozen and chilled storage. Operating from nine individually controlled rooms, we can offer a complete range of storage temperatures.

A fully integrated bar code scanning inventory system is used, offering real time stock control and inventory reporting.

Otaki Cold Storage is export licensed under MPI regulations for meat and dairy to most markets.

The business is also an Approved Transitional Facility working with MPI to ensure safe and clean passage of imported goods into the country.

Historically Otaki has provided a complete service for fruit exporters and has built strong relationships with the many surrounding market gardeners and orchardists’.

The current International Fruit Market has resulted in Otaki Cold Storage concentrating on packing for the local market.

Otaki Cold Storage is also a base for honey and food producers.
